Position title: Head of sales USA
Location: Hybrid anywhere in USA. With 60% travel across US for Business.
Reports to: Global Business Unit Head.
Sector: Energy and Utilities.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Energy Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
Experience: 25+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Technical Sales.
Software: SCADA Systems, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Utility Management Solutions, Grid Automation Platforms, Energy Trading Systems, Renewable Energy Management Solutions, CRM Platforms.
Activities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve annual revenue and growth targets across the Americas, primarily within the United States.
Lead sales initiatives for DES software products, digital solutions, and professional services.
Establish, develop, and maintain strategic relationships with utility companies, energy merchants, EPC contractors, developers, and large energy consumers.
Build strong executive-level relationships, including C-Suite stakeholders, to position DES as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
Drive sales growth through consultative engagement with utility industry leaders during their energy transformation initiatives.
Promote DES solutions related to grid modernization, automation, renewable energy integration, energy storage, microgrids, electric vehicles, demand response, and cybersecurity.
